These training courses are part of the Mountain Training Coaching pathway and are appropriate for anyone who instructs or coaches any kind of group in a climbing or mountaineering environment. These courses are run indoors but can be ideal for anyone who instructs outdoors too and has transferable learning and skills for other sports. This is a great place to start if you have no formal coaching or instructing experience or qualifications.

These courses are valuable CPD and are often revisited by highly experienced coaches and instructors with many years working in the industry. The backgrounds and expertise within the group make each course a unique learning experience, and people often choose to book these courses multiple times throughout their careers.

These courses are also great for anyone wanting to understand and improve their own personal climbing, or those who enjoy informal coaching.

As well as for parents who want to support their children, and learn about life long participation development, youth physical development and much more.

The courses are often a great place to start for youth climbers (14+) thinking about a coaching or teaching career or wanting to improve their climbing and confidence.
